The best way is by simply stating up front: “I love my pets so much! But please know that they are not allowed in any rooms except those designated as pet-friendly.” Another option is to let the buyer know they can ask their own questions about whether or not there are pets on the premises, but if there are any concerns about allergies or other issues, then it’s best if they don’t enter those rooms themselves.

Prospective homebuyers don’t want to see unfinished repairs on your property. If there’s a leaky faucet or something that doesn’t seem right, it would be wise to get the work done before you put your home on the market.

Make sure all of your appliances are in good working condition! A broken fridge or dishwasher can turn off potential buyers immediately—so if there’s something wrong with them (or anything else), get it fixed before listing.
